ABOUT US
WHO WE ARE
Amy Norman has had a life-long interest in dentistry. Each step in her career has enhanced her artistic and technical skills. Dr. Norman has developed a practice focused on offering patients an exceptional experience in cosmetic and adult dentistry which she calls the Dream Smile Experience. This focus allows her to combine artistry and science to change patients’ lives by giving them the smiles of their dreams.
Dr. Norman began her career by dental assisting at the age of 16. She received early acceptance into dental school and worked her way through college as an assistant in various dental specialties.
Dr. Norman is a graduate of the University of Washington and continued her education after graduation with an emphasis on cosmetic dentistry, TMJ treatment, and sedation dentistry.
Throughout her career, Dr. Norman has sought excellence and balance. She has been named “40 to watch under 40” by The Puget Sound Business Journal, has competed for Mrs. Washington and has been named as KING5’s Best Dentist of Western Washington four consecutive years.
“I live my dream each day – changing smiles and changing lives. When your job is also your passion, you never work a day in your life. My vision was to create a dental studio where patients are pampered in a retreat-like atmosphere. This would not have been possible without my amazing Dream Team. They are the best employees and friends I could ask for. Our purpose is to provide exceptional cosmetic and adult dentistry. Our mission is to exceed our clients’ expectations to such a degree that they feel they didn’t pay us enough.
In order to fulfill these promises, we are committed to: utilizing state of the art technology, using world-class lab technicians to create our restorations, and hiring and retaining only the highest caliber of team members. We will work with our clients to learn their goals and needs and most importantly, we will never take for granted the trust a client places in us when they join our dental family.”

OUR DREAM TEAM

DR. AMY
NORMAN
Dr. Norman: I am one of the lucky few because my job is also my hobby. I look forward to work and am blessed to work for people and with people that bring me joy. It is my vow to never ever take for granted the trust placed in me when a new guest joins our dental family.

ANGIE
Angie: My passion for my work comes from a dedication to excellence. I am fortunate to have found a dentist who also supports that level of care and that’s why I’ve stayed for more than a decade. It is my goal that every patient leaves extremely happy with their treatment in our office. As a dental hygienist, I’m excited by the advancements in my field and the ability to help my patients feel better and live longer.

ALONDRA
Alondra: From the moment I first came in this office, I could tell it was different than any other.
We are a dental family and our patients are guests in our home.
I support Dr. Norman in all aspects of patient care. My favorite duties are running all of her high-tech and digital equipment.
Whether it’s getting a patient out of pain, helping them save their teeth, or giving them the smile of their dreams, I enjoy the results and transformations.

MARIKA
Marika: Welcome to our practice! Many of you know me as the first person you met when you walked through our doors. In my role as Treatment Coordinator, I had the pleasure of working with nearly every patient in the practice, and I loved coordinating care for both our patients and Dr. Norman.
Even though I now live on the other coast (!!!), I’m still part of the Dream Team. I continue to support the practice by keeping up communication and relationships with our referring doctors and their offices. I love that I can remain connected to the patients, team, and practice that have meant so much to me over the years.

ASHLEY
Ashley: One of my favorite parts of working at Dream Smile is helping our patients feel comfortable and cared for from the moment they arrive.
I support Dr. Norman in every aspect of patient care by preparing each treatment room, anticipating her needs, and helping every appointment run as smoothly as possible.
I love paying attention to the little details that make a big difference. Whether it’s remembering your comfort preferences, offering a warm blanket, or simply helping you feel relaxed. Seeing patients leave with healthy, confident smiles is the most rewarding part of what I do.

COURTNEY
Courtney: I’m excited to be part of the Dream Smile team as I work toward my goal of becoming a Registered Dental Hygienist. Joining Dream Smile has given me the opportunity to learn from an incredible team while building the skills I need for my future career.
As the Sterilization Technician, I take pride in helping keep our patients safe by ensuring every instrument is properly sterilized and every treatment room is ready for exceptional care. I also love bringing positive energy to the office and have even earned the honorary title of Chief Fun Officer! My goal is to help create a welcoming environment where both our patients and our team can smile.

ANDRONICA
Andronica: I joined the Dream Team after 17 years in the dental field. My background includes general dentistry as well as the specialty fields of periodontics and oral surgery. That experience gives me a broad knowledge base for coordinating Dr. Norman’s cases—which, as many of our patients know, can be quite complex!
I enjoy helping our patients navigate all aspects of their care and making the treatment process feel as comfortable and seamless as possible. I feel blessed to be part of an office family where the humor, friendliness, and compassion are so genuine.
Dr. Norman has had only two other Treatment Coordinators in 31 years, and in my short time here, I can already see why. This is a very special place to work, and I’m grateful to be part of the Dream Team.

KATHLEEN
Kathleen: I’m delighted to call the Dream Team my new dental home! I have the honor of joining the team following the retirement of our longtime hygienist, Karolyn.
I came to Dream Smile with 26 years of experience in the dental field, so I have a pretty good perspective from which to confidently say: this office is special. I’ve also had the privilege of teaching at Pima Medical Institute’s Dental Hygiene program, where Angie is also an instructor.
I’m a Navy veteran, and outside the office I enjoy spending time with my two dogs—and the occasional foster cat. I’m excited to get to know our patients and continue the tradition of exceptional care that makes Dream Smile such a unique dental home.
Honoring Our Retired Team Members

KAROLYN
After more than 35+ incredible years of caring for patients with compassion, dedication and genuine warmth, Karolyn moved on to her retirement season early 2026. Karolyn has built lasting relationships with generations of patients, and her presence has truly shaped the heart of our practice. She will be deeply missed—not just as a dental hygienist, but as a person we value and love dearly. As a teammate she was top notch and never ever said No to any ask. She, along with Judy, were the “OG’s” of the practice, Dr. Norman says that they raised her from a puppy-dentist. Karolyn was a great example to our team, leading by example, every day.

JUDY
With more than 44 years of dedicated service in our practice, Judy was truly one of a kind. In all those years, she never took a sick day, never missed a meeting, and never missed a minute of work. She set the standard for dedication, reliability, and excellence—the mold was truly broken when Judy was made. Dr. Norman made her give us three years’ notice prior to retirement. She retired in 2023 at the age of 83, still looking 63 and still the healthiest person in the whole office. An inspiration to all of us. Judy expertly guided the practice through its transition from Dr. Jones to Dr. Norman in 1995. As Dr. Norman’s trusted right hand and steadfast supporter, she was also an incredible teammate and mentor to everyone fortunate enough to work alongside her.Judy still stops by from time to time, and her visits always brighten our day. Her example and legacy continues to inspire our team, and she will always be a cherished part of our practice family. We love you Judy!

“AL” (Amy Lorraine)
Amy and Dr. Amy recognized early on that two ‘Amys.’ in the practice was going to be confusing. Not a fan of her middle name, as a nickname, she and Dr. Amy started using her initials A.L. as a shorthand and that stuck as AL. AL worked with the team as Dr. Norman’s dental assistant from the late ’90s to after the build of our new office in 2017. When her husband scored an amazing new job that required a transfer to eastern Washington, she commuted back (5 hours) to continue working for us one week a month. She tried to work in another dental office in her new home town but it did not work out, “Aims, you guys ruined me for ever being able to work in another dental office.” AL still is our go-to fill-in if we ever need additional help, so you will still see her here very occasionally. Check out our growth chart and you will see that she holds the all-time record for being the most petite member of our team. Since we ruined her, she has retired from dentistry.
In her 20+ years with the practice, you can still see her legacy by how many patients ask, “Hey, how is AL doing?” Answer, she is doing great, but she misses us as much as we miss her. Our love lasts!
