KAYLEE STORY

Before

Do you hate having your picture taken? Have you mastered the art of smiling without showing your teeth? Do you cover your mouth when you laugh or talk? If you do anything these things because you don’t like your smile, you’re not alone. In fact, one in four people reports feeling self-conscious about their smile.

One of those people was Kaylee Magee.

Kaylee didn’t like her smile – in fact, she absolutely hated it. After years of feeling self-conscious about her appearance, Kaylee decided to go through with braces.

“I wanted to feel confident in my own skin,” Kaylee said.

During

Kaylee was referred to Dr. Norman for her smile makeover by a family friend.

Upon visiting Dr. Norman for the first time, Kaylee knew she was in good hands.

“She makes you feel very comfortable,” Kaylee said.

After being evaluated with imaging and exams, Dr. Norman gave Kaylee three potential treatment options. Kaylee ultimately chose braces.

While undergoing orthodontic treatment, Kaylee felt that she was not just a patient, but she was involved in her treatment plan.

“Dr. Norman makes sure you are up to speed with what is going on during your appointment and that you have all the information you need about your appointment,” Kaylee said.

Dr. Norman’s efforts went a long way for Kaylee, who feared that her orthodontic treatment might hurt.

“My concern was that I would be in pain at my appointments, but I never was,” Kaylee said.

Kaylee wore braces for two years. After having her braces removed, Dr. Norman fitted Kaylee for a retainer.

After

Since Kaylee’s braces came off, she loves her new smile and can’t stop showing it off.

“I can’t stop smiling,” Kaylee said.

She’s also gained more confidence and gets more compliments.

“I am 110 percent more confident than before getting braces, and people tell me that my smile is contagious,” Kaylee said.

Kaylee wants everyone to love their smile as much as she loves hers and encourages everyone to trust Dr. Norman with their smile makeover.

“I would say to go forward with whatever procedure that Dr. Norman has suggested because ultimately it is going to be the best choice for you and your health,” Kaylee said
